I read most of an interminably long post on mumsnet (via google since I'm not a mum) on this and I think for the trial they did two consecutive days but I don't think it matters as I've also seen this sort of diet as an alternative day thing. I'm actually thinking of increasing it to 3 days a week.... Gahhhh.

You're right though, what you eat on the other days DOES matter and it's quite hard to not think of those as days of freedom from diet. I now think of it as phased: milk days, diet days (still v strict and carb free) and weekends when I can have the odd glass of wine and bit of dark chocolate. But my body is more diet-resistent than almost anyone else I've ever met....

PxPeridothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06366949232240654169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367518755083475837.post-66837980277719449142012-08-11T10:43:49.530-07:002012-08-11T10:43:49.530-07:00I have a question ** raises hand politely and wait...I have a question ** raises hand politely and waits to be called upon ***
I've been doing the genesis for two weeks since googling it after reading about it here ( you trend setter you !! ) Now , I'm doing my two days of milky delight on a Monday and a Thursday and you seem to be doing them consecutively . Am I making a faux pas with my separation of the days or do you just want them out of the way . Ive lost a small amount of weight ( which given the stuff I scoffed this week on my "normal" days was quite surprising . Good luck with the job hunt, and I am glad the diet's working.Gabbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11903283714971109062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367518755083475837.post-2745444340844646892012-08-09T04:31:31.668-07:002012-08-09T04:31:31.668-07:00Man - I feel so bad for you - it sounds like your ...Man - I feel so bad for you - it sounds like your work is hell on earth (or at least some of your co-workers are)! I've been there though, and getting out is such a relief, as is even making the positive steps of looking for new jobs - the best anti-dote is being able to do something pro-active to help yourself and it feels like a stealthy two-fingers to them to be able to plot your escape - hope something good comes up soon!

It's funny - when I read about your new approach with the 2 fast days the other week, I was all frowny thinking it was terribly extreme, and then there it was - an article on the BBC website this week explaining how beneficial just two "fast" days a week can be ... apparently you're just way up there with the cutting edge! Anyway - glad the scales are playing ball for the moment - hope it continues! xxstarfish264https://www.blogger.com/profile/14024515361050828981noreply@blogger.com
