I am also a very slow loser and I could absolutely not drink wine three days a week and expect to lose anything. You don't have to drink and it's nobody else's business if you don't. Try to break the connection between food/wine and having a good time. Special occasions are just that - they don't happen a few times every week. Sorry to sound tough but this diet is obviously working for you - don't sabotage yourself! You deserve this.Tiramisuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05578714761056594340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367518755083475837.post-60321571426363094192015-05-23T17:13:41.191-07:002015-05-23T17:13:41.191-07:00Totally agree with you that hunger is cyclical! I'm totally jealous of the consistent losses!Stephbospoonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10569307118452215219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367518755083475837.post-59685001438740010692015-05-21T20:25:19.995-07:002015-05-21T20:25:19.995-07:00Don't lose heart - look at the long term trend...Don't lose heart - look at the long term trend. You've lost 13.5 pounds! That's significant, and I'm frankly jealous of your progress. Don't get too hung up on this week.
I think hunger is definitely cyclical, perhaps hormonal? Anyway, just do your best, try to navigate the wine-drinking as best you can, and you'll chip away at it slowly, slowly. Which is not nearly as satisfying as quickly, quickly, but you'll end up in the same spot, after all.Gabbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11903283714971109062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367518755083475837.post-52378256209815423972015-05-21T12:41:08.017-07:002015-05-21T12:41:08.017-07:00You don't have to drink if you want to priorit...You don't have to drink if you want to prioritise your weight loss.
Losing weight is so difficult. I believe it cannot be done while drinking wine more than a glass occasionally.
Nothing changes if nothing changes and al that.
Your weight loss to date has been consistent and identical to a common dieting pattern. Starting off with all guns blazing and then becoming more lax and less motivated.
Pretend this is your first week again and regain that enthusiasm. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. Weight loss doesn't happen by chance. You have to make it happen. Depends if you want it more than the wine and inevitable social food choices. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18048366170275112842noreply@blogger.com
